Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly Registered Behavior Technicians to support pediatric therapy across the Fairfax area. You will provide direct ABA instruction, collaborate with BCBA and therapists, and communicate with families to promote consistency at home and in the community.

Requirements include 1–2 years with children 2–21, enrollment or completion in a relevant undergraduate program, and RBT certification (BACB).

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
• 1–2 years working with children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting.
• RBT certification from BACB is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the plan by BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and therapists.
• Communicate with families with debriefs and provide home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.

Now Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Registered Behavior Technicians

Hourly Rate: Up to $27 based onavailabilityandexperience

$200 sign on bonus (Applicable after 2 weeks)/$300 retention bonus (Applicable after 6 months)

LOCATION: Cases Available Throughout Fairfax

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

Requirements

Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!

• At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting

OR

successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or a related field

• Experience using ABA preferred
• Holds RBT Certification from BACB

Other Requirements

• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisor
• Passionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!
• Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to climb and descend staircases
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods
