Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavior Specialist/ Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) located in Knoxville, TN. The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for implementing effective behavioral interventions. Pay range $20.00-$25.00 an hour starting.

We have both full time and part time positions available with morning, early afternoon and evening hours M-F. No weekends or holidays! If you are interested please direct message us ️ see below more info about the position and requirements/certification process.

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBTRequirements Coordinator, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform.

Qualifications

  • Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis skills
  • Behavior Management and Behavior Modification skills
  • Psychology knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field (preferred).
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred). Experience working with children in a school and/or daycare center is also acceptable.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations
  • Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification- training, resources and coaching through the certification process provided.
