Job summary

Children Making Strides is seeking a dedicated ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to work with children aged 2-9 in home-based settings in Decatur, GA. Sessions run Monday–Friday 3:30–5:30pm, with a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment, and dynamic training from BCBAs.

In this role you’ll deliver ABA therapy, help build communication and social skills, and document progress for senior health professionals while fostering a loving, child-led environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in a related field or related ABA/young children experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle and active car insurance.
  • Comfortable working in home-based settings with children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ABA therapy services to children at their homes or in our clinic, drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.
  • Help children build vital life skills surrounding communication and socialization needs.

As an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician, you will provide ABA therapy services to children at their homes, creating engaging and fun learning experiences, and drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.

Physical Requirements
  • Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
  • Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
  • Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
  • Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.
