In this school-based role, you will support students with their emotional and behavioral needs throughout the school day, including classroom, specials, recess, and lunch. You will work directly under the supervision of a BCBA, who will develop best practice strategies for working with the students.
We will provide training for RBT credentialing (if not currently certified) and are interested in this career path!

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices, and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges, and communication needs. Devereux uses evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.

Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology, or other related field; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process of completing RBT Certification.
Experience: Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents along the autism spectrum/behavioral challenges. Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided. Must have reliable transportation.
