Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement therapeutic procedures that can greatly impact children’s lives. You’ll work one-on-one with children and families in their homes, helping them learn new skills and reach new milestones.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting
  • Collect and record data on child behaviors
  • Work closely with BCBAs and help build the best treatment plans
  • Attend team meetings to share your weekly experience, collaborate with other team members, and learn about skills in ABA

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; candidates interested in pursuing careers in child care are preferred
  • Experience working with children and a passion for working with children with special needs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course
  • Pass RBT Certification within 90 days of hire (study support provided)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to assume and maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods
  • Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods
