Registered Behavior Technician (Autism Center, Downtown Orlando) (Finance)

Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (FULL-TIME) to join our team in Downtown Orlando.

Qualified candidates will have RBT certification and must be working toward Certification in Behavior Analysis.

Located in Orlando, FL, Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 130-bed pediatric hospital features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed for kids, outpatient pediatric clinics with various specialties, and a hospital designed by families for families. We blend the healing power of nature with healthcare innovation to deliver world-class care to children in Central Florida and beyond. We also provide specialty outpatient care across several clinics in the region.

The Behavior Technician will:
  • Collect data on each child's performance daily, including acceleration and deceleration.
  • Conduct individual teaching sessions for each child as scheduled, with daily adjustments.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of therapy rooms.
  • Care for children with toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, and other self-care needs.
  • Communicate session outcomes with parents/caregivers.
  • Assist in developing up-to-date training materials using current technologies.
  • Graph all assigned data.
  • Assist in designing data sheets and graphs.
  • Provide input for programmatic decisions.
  • Attend all weekly staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Adhere to all Nemours policies and procedures.
Qualified Candidates will:
  • Have completed at least 2 years of college and be currently enrolled in a 4-year program with an anticipated graduation date. (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certified by the BACB, or
  • Maintain RBT status throughout employment.
