AWARE is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician in Livingston, MT to join our compassionate care team. This full-time position starts at $19.00 to $23.59 per hour and offers competitive benefits including health-related options and professional development.

Formación

• Interpersonal oral and written communication, teamwork, observation and reporting, learning behavioral methods, following instructions, and facilitating meetings.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Montana driver's license or ability to obtain one with acceptable driving record.
• A background check for criminal and protective services is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build communication, social, and problem solving skills.
• Increase frequency or duration of safe replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers.
• Accurately collects behavior data including A-B-C, counts, frequency, duration, latency, and interval recording.
• Follows treatment plan goals and interventions with sound judgment and appropriate consultations.
• Collaborates with family and treatment team to provide uninterrupted treatment.
• Educates about ABA-based interventions and the RBT role within bounds.

Responsibilities:

• Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills;


• Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers (desired items/actions, attention, or removal of demands/aversive situations);


• Accurately collects behavior data including A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, event, and interval based recording;


• Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation;


• Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment;


• Educates all those involved about the role of ABA based interventions and the RBT, and functions within boundaries of the RBT role in providing treatment.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:

• Interpersonal oral and written communications skills to work as a team member, to make observations and to report them accurately, to learn behavioral and clinical, methods, and to follow oral and written instructions and have the ability to facilitate meetings;


• High School Diploma or HSE is required;


• A valid Montana Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one, and an acceptable driving record;


• An acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
