Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc, now a subsidiary of Powerback Rehab, is hiring a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will follow the treatment plan, support skill acquisition and behavior modification, and ensure accurate billing and documentation.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year experience with children, HS diploma or GED, and a willingness to pursue RBT certification.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been completed, training provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.
