Nexus Health Systems is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Nexus Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands. This role involves providing direct behavioral support to pediatric patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome and related conditions. You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, implementing behavior plans and ensuring patient safety.
The ideal candidate will hold an active RBT certification, CPR/BLS certification, and possess a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Prior experience in a hospital or residential setting is preferred.
Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Nexus Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands provides specialized inpatient care for children and adolescents diagnosed with Prader‑Willi Syndrome (PWS). PWS is a genetic disorder that can affect appetite regulation, behavior, emotional control, and developmental functioning, requiring a highly structured and closely supervised treatment environment.
Our program focuses on behavioral management, medical stability and skill development in a supportive clinical setting. Our interdisciplinary team works closely with patients and their families to promote safety, independence, and improved quality of life through individualized treatment plans and evidence‑based care.
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral support to pediatric patients with Prader‑Willi Syndrome and related medical or behavioral conditions. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT implements behavior plans, collects data, and helps maintain the structured environment essential for patient safety and progress.
This role requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to work with patients who may have developmental, behavioral, or medical complexities.
