Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Part Time RBT to implement behavior support plans and provide ABA-based instruction under the supervision of a BCBA. You will monitor and collect data on client behavior and report findings to the supervising BCBA.

The role requires a BACB RBT certification, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and availability for early afternoon hours. Travel to the South Boston/Seaport District and a valid driver’s license are necessary.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the BACB – REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Availability for early afternoon hours (e.g. 1:30–4:00) – REQUIRED
• Ability to travel to South Boston/Seaport District, Boston area
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Access to a laptop/CPS, high-speed internet, and phone

Part Time hours Fee For Service Position

The RBT will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - REQUIRED
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience- REQUIRED (Working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and experience working with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care)
• Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g.1:30-4:00) -REQUIRED
• Ability to travel to areas of Boston in the South Boston/Seaport District
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Compensation
