Job summary

Lightouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide family-centered ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and train caregivers in home and community settings.

The role requires current RBT certification and Florida Medicaid provider approval, with duties spanning data collection, direct client interventions, and collaboration with the supervising team to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certificate/degree in behavioral health or related field or equivalent experience

Job Description

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will provide family-centered ABA services to individuals with behavior challenges and skill deficits under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Technicians are responsible for implementing behavior plans, data and data collection as well as training caregivers and staff in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA with individual clients, implementing interventions for skill acquisition and behavior reduction as directed by the BCBA
• Delivering ABA across multiple environments including home, school, and community
• Collecting electronic data both accurately and effectively as it relates to the program created by the BCBA
• Communicate effectively with supervising BCBA/BCaBA
• Implement parent training to support children and adolescents reach behavioral goals and increase quality of life.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a behavioral health or related field.
• Previous work experience with children with behavioral or developmental disabilities
• Maintain reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance
• Additional certification may be required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Current RBT certification (Required)
• Florida Approved Medicaid Provider (Required)
