Job Description: As an RBT, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA. You’ll support skill-building in areas like communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and daily living skills—all while making a real impact, every day.
Essential Job Functions: Be a positive role model and build real connections with residents; Help children, teens and adults work toward their treatment goals; Jump in with daily routines— chores, activities, groups, and more; Go on outings, community events, or just get out of the clinic for a while!; Support emotional regulation and safety with compassion and calmness; Document what you see, hear, and experience—your observations matter!; Be part of a team that has each other’s backs and truly cares.
Education: Required: High school diploma / 6-12 months experience working with individuals with either autism, oppositional defiance or conduct disorder. RBT is required, if you do not have your RBT we will help you obtain your RBT. Note it can take up to 90 days to obtain RBT. Preferred: Associates Degree, training and knowledge of behavior analysis, Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, social work, or human services, or any other field relevant to care or services to individuals with behavioral and/or mental health challenges.
