Sycamore Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to make a difference in others' lives by providing training in daily living skills and promoting community involvement for people with disabilities. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other challenges. Our services are personalized and provided across home, community, and office settings.

As an RBT, you will support and implement patient care plans created by a board-certified behavior analyst. You will provide ABA interventions that encourage socially acceptable replacement behaviors, helping clients improve communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility, responsiveness to feedback, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Job Details:

  • Job Status: Full-Time/Part-Time
  • Travel: Office setting; some services in community settings if appropriate
  • Pay: Starting at $20/hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct client care in 1:1 or group settings
  • Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Following skill acquisition programs
  • Data collection and record keeping
  • Communicating with parents, teachers, and BCBAs
  • Completing required training and certifications
  • Assisting with adaptive and daily living skills
  • Complying with BACB Ethics Code
  • Assisting with assessments and safety procedures
  • Maintaining professional communication and documentation

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with software platforms (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Flexible schedule and team-oriented attitude
  • Registered Behavior Technician credential from BACB (training provided)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related fields (preferred)
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment
  • Ability to assume various postures and stand/sit for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity for data collection
  • Presence at assigned job locations, including community settings
