Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
*MUST BE RBT CERTIFIED & IN GOOD STANDING

Status: Part-time
Reports To: BCBA/BCaBA
Summary/Objective
Responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. The behavior therapist directly delivers behavioral services to children and families, maintains accurate case notes, and communicates effectively with supervising BCABA or BCBA regarding program progress. The RBT maintains a weekly billable caseload as directed by the Director of Operations.
Essential Functions
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions.
- Complete weekly program writing and maintain client's program book.
- Work with consultants to implement individualized goals and checklists.
- Implement treatment plans as directed by consultants.
- Graph data as instructed.
- Maintain client confidentiality and respect.
- Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies to maintain knowledge.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and meet state driving requirements.
- Dependable transportation and active communication about community outreach.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate's degree or coursework in marriage and family therapy, child development, psychology, or related fields.
- RBT Certification.
- Understanding of DTT, PECS, PRT, and other ABA strategies.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and observe for extended periods.
- Good vision for reading and observing.
- Clear speech and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Work may involve moderate to high stress levels.
- Work may be in clinical, office, or home environments.
- Exposure to individuals displaying challenging behaviors.
- Willingness to travel between client locations as needed.
Position Details
This is a full-time position with hours Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. Travel between client residences in the Metro area is required, up to 100% of the time.
Additional Qualifications
- Work authorization/security clearance as required.
- Willingness to relocate to Buckeye, AZ, or commute reliably.
Benefits & Schedule
- Part-time with opportunity to become full-time during summer.
- Pay: $25/hr

- Schedule: Weekdays, no nights.
- Willingness to travel 25% preferred.
