Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. - Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
