Job summary

AccessCNY, Inc. is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA-based behavioral intervention for children with special needs at our Syracuse location.

The role includes data collection, implementing individualized programs, and coaching families in home protocols. RBT certification is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required, with a valid driver’s license and transportation essential. Sign-on bonus up to $1,500 is offered.

Registered Behavior Technician ** Up To $1,500 Dollar Sign-On Bonus

Reports to: Sr. Behavior Intervention Specialist

Location: 1603 Court Street, Syracuse NY 13208

Schedule: Full and Part-Time schedules available

Pay Rate: $22.60 - $25.10 Hourly

Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive employee to provide 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and provides support to their families.

Responsibilities

• Understanding & implementing individualized Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs
• Collecting data on individualized ABA program
• Completing a BACB approved RBT course and maintaining current registration
• Instructing participants and their family in home programs and protocols

Education & Experience

High School diploma/GED required. Experience working with children with a disability preferred. RBT certification preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required. Basic word processing and e-mail skills, required.

Conditions of Employment

Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
