  • Assist, monitor, and guide students to complete tasks or to achieve adaptive, functional, and life skills.
  • Promote a safe learning environment.
  • Collect and record qualitative data by observing students in classroom settings.

The Hamilton County Educational Service Centerhas a full-time opening for the position ofRegistered Behavior Technician for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Description:

The Registered Behavior Technician helps the Board Certified Behavior Analyst with providing student care and support. They help document and observe students who need additional support in their education and assist teachers by modeling appropriate behaviors to demonstrate how to work with students that may benefit from additional support.

Qualifications:

Employment in this position is contingent upon compliance with applicable pre-employment requirements, including the satisfactory completion of required criminal records checks and fingerprinting in accordance with Ohio Revised Code § 3319.39 and other applicable laws and HCESC policies.

  • Education:High School diploma or GED required.
  • Certificates, Certifications, or Other Training:ValidRegistered Behavior Technician certification, Crisis Prevention Institute training
  • Previous Work-Related Experience:1-2 years
  • Previous Supervisory Experience:None
  • Access to reliable transportation to fulfill job duties
