We are looking for individuals to join our team who are Registered Behavior Technicians or Behaviorally Trained Staff members for the Arlington, MA area. Who is BILT, Inc.? Bridging Independent Living Together, Inc. works to enrich the lives of people with disabilities through compassionate support. Our team is committed to bridging the gap of care to enhance individuals' independence, maximize their capabilities, and provide meaningful community inclusion by assisting and supporting their choices regarding housing, socialization, learning, employment opportunities, and recreational activities. We are a small non-profit organization that works in homes and communities with people who have varying disabilities. We take "impossible" and turn it into "possible". Our activities include teaching individuals how to get a job, taking individuals on adventures, providing respite care, and mentorship. Our individuals are between 3 and 65 years old. Our ideal candidate is a passionate, motivated, self-initiating team member to help us with our mission of providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Pay is based on education and experience. RBT certification is a plus. There are many opportunities for career progression within the company, including providing supervision hours to RBTs or internships. Specific schedule needs include weekday afternoons and weekends in the Arlington, MA area. Responsibilities include: skill building of ADLs and IADLs, in-home direct care for individuals with intellectual disabilities, community-based skill building, providing respite care to guardians, maintaining professional relationships with families, and driving clients as needed.
