Job summary

Behavioral Health Works is seeking a motivated Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children and adolescents with ASD. You will track client progress, support families, and collaborate with our team of BCBAs and Supervisors in a warm, growth-focused environment.

This part-time role offers 10–15 hours per week with after‑school availability (after 3pm) and pay ranging from $23.00 to $29.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 College Credits completed OR 6 months of recent work with children with developmental disabilities OR an active RBT certification.
• Must meet minimum availability of 4 days a week for 4 hours a day (after 3pm).
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive to client sessions.
• Access to smartphone or device with internet to capture session data.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Must meet minimum availability of 4 days a week for 4 hours a day (After 3pm)
• You’ll need reliable transportation & must be comfortable driving to client sessions
• Access and ability to use a smartphone or similar device with internet services capable of capturing client session data

Position Requirements

• Stay active throughout the day by sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, crouching, standing, and frequently transitioning between floor and standing during therapy sessions.
• Bring energy, patience, and professionalism while actively engaging with children, implementing behavior support plans, and ensuring client safety by responding calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviors.
• Lift or assist children and equipment up to 50 lbs. (as required by assigned cases), complete documentation using electronic devices, and travel reliably between assigned client locations.

Expected hours

• You are currently pursuing or have completed college coursework or a degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Child Development, Sociology, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
