Job summary

ACADEMY OF ART AND LEARNING CHILDCARE LLC is seeking professionals to create an inclusive environment for children diagnosed with autism. You will provide 1:1 support, implement ABA techniques, and collaborate with a team to tailor individualized education plans.

Ideal candidates will hold an RBT certificate and have experience working with this demographic. The role includes effective communication with parents and maintaining a nurturing space for children's growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum.
• Experience in creating an inclusive environment for children diagnosed with autism.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, providing individualized support and interventions.
• Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive behavior and learning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and modify individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Job Purpose

To create an inclusive environment for the children enrolled in our program who are diagnosed with autism, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, providing individualized support and interventions.
• Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive behavior and learning.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and modify individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs.
• Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on progress and strategies to support learning at home.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and autism support.

Required Education:
