MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a qualified RN II to deliver nursing care in a correctional setting at the Horry County Detention Center. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
This PRN, hourly position requires compliance with facility protocols, supervision of care staff, and adherence to PREA and security standards while maintaining high-quality clinical practice.

Provides nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Directs and leads other assigned team members, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
Provides patient-centered care addressing physical, emotional, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
Conducts assessments, develops nursing diagnoses, identifies outcomes, plans and implements interventions, provides health teaching, and evaluates care.
Ensures a therapeutic environment and participates in professional governance and development.
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor of Nursing preferred. RN staff hired after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree must be enrolled in a BSN program within two years and complete it within four years. Minimum one year of RN experience required.
Licensure as an RN by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
