Touchstone Climbing Inc. in Southern California seeks a Regional Youth Programs Supervisor to oversee birthday parties, camps, and club teams across the region’s gyms. You’ll manage operations, ensure program quality, and supervise staff, reporting to the Youth Programs Director.

This full-time role requires travel among SoCal locations, a passion for youth development, and a commitment to safety and service. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Youth Programs (birthday parties, climbing camps, club teams) for your region
• Work with gym managers and the Youth Programs Director to interview, hire, onboard, and train new Youth Programs staff in your region
• Help enforce company policies and ensure code of conduct is understood and followed amongst coaching staff
• Manage team waitlists and rosters for the region and collaborate with Climbing Club coaches to organize tryouts for their gym location
• Stay consistent in communication with club coaches about club team scheduling, roster capacities, membership changes, participant transfers, etc.
• Attend practices on a regular basis and work with coaches to improve their programs through coaching and feedback
• Answer customer inquiries regarding Club Team goals and its tryout process
• Assist the Youth Programs Director with quality control checks during program practices to ensure consistency and standards
• Communicate with gym management to ensure Youth Programs don’t adversely impact their gym or members
• Create and implement a training curriculum for the Climbing Clubs and Climbing Camps
• Collaborate with coaching staff to move climbers through the program and identify candidates for Comp Team
• Arrive punctually and be prepared for work; be consistently available to attend youth programs
• Oversee safety of Youth Program climbers during training and manage impact on gym members
• Pay attention to training quality and program improvements with the coaching team
• Manage YP Redpoint accounts, including dues, memberships, and attendance tracking
• Coordinate with gym management on facility impact and scheduling
• Maintain a professional and positive representation of Touchstone at all times
• Possess a passion for working with children and facilitating growth through climbing
