Qualifications

• High school diploma and four years of experience in recruitment/selection, interviewing, counseling, assessment, workforce development or similar activities.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Must possess or obtain a valid South Carolina driver's license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff, conduct training and evaluations, fill vacancies, and foster a professional work environment.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate Workforce Operation program activities.
• Ensure timely service delivery of programs and initiatives.
• Monitor staff activities daily and assist where needed.
• Collaborate with SC Works Operator and Regional Area Director for service delivery improvements.
• Identify opportunities to deliver services in libraries, technical colleges, or community partner locations.
• Promote positive communication to sustain partnerships between SC Works Center Operators and partner staff.
• Analyze and integrate data to assess staff activity effectiveness.
• Adjust staffing to meet service delivery needs.
• Review processes and travel to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Develop and monitor business engagement plans and pilot programs targeting priority populations.
