Job summary

South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) seeks a skilled supervisor to lead staff delivering employment services and reemployment programs in SC Works Centers. You will oversee operations, staff development, and program integration with center operators to meet performance targets.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4+ years in workforce development, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, with travel across Greenville County anticipated.

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma and four years of experience in recruitment/selection, interviewing, counseling, assessment, workforce development or similar activities.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, with prior project management or training responsibilities.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid South Carolina driver's license within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Develop staff, conduct training and evaluations, fill vacancies, and foster a professional work environment.
Plan, manage, and coordinate Workforce Operation program activities.
Ensure timely service delivery of programs and initiatives.
Monitor staff activities daily and adjust staffing as needed.
Collaborate with SC Works Operator and Regional Area Director for service improvements.
