Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with regional operations, execute WHS policies, and ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations. Lead continuous improvement, risk assessments, and safety data analysis across multiple fulfillment centers.

You will build and mentor a team of safety managers, drive leadership development, and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining high safety standards and training

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in safety/environmental programs in manufacturing/production/operations.
Proven leadership capabilities and performance management experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Lean principles and process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert on local and regional regulations and WHS policy.
Provide guidance to ensure compliance with Amazon WHS policies.
Measure region/site performance and identify improvement plans.
Maintain WHS data integrity and deliver accurate metrics for initiatives.
Lead safety projects and Kaizens with Operations teams.
Coach and mentor FC WHS Manager and WHS staff.
Engage with site leadership to implement program improvements.
Assess safety talent and develop bench strength for future needs.
