Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Regional Training and Operations Technician to cover vacations and absences at wastewater facilities in the Dayton, OH area. The role includes hands-on operation, maintenance, training development, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The position requires travel up to extended periods and involves coordinating with the SWOT team to train technicians and support new account start-ups. A high school diploma and 3+ years WWTP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Willingness to learn and take instructions on Wastewater treatment processes.
• Prior traveling work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia operated facilities in your region.
• Develop training resources for technicians and site-specific training.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are used across facilities.
• Support new account start-up projects with SWOT team and training.
