Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage a nuclear warehouse operation ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.

You will lead warehouse personnel, maintain inventory integrity, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with Vistra’s policies and industry standards to support plant operations and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop warehouse personnel in alignment with Vistra Core Values while fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
• Direct warehouse operations: receiving, storage, inventory control, staging, issuing, shipping, tool management, and material handling to support plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, quality standards, environmental expectations, and safety procedures.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, material traceability, shelf-life management, Min/Max planning, and inventory optimization activities.
• Develop and coordinate employee training, qualifications, and workforce development programs to ensure personnel proficiency and operational readiness.
• Maintain quality documentation and warehouse records while supporting testing programs, procurement quality processes, and material-related issue resolution.
• Ensure warehouse facilities, storage environments, and material handling equipment are maintained in a safe, compliant, and operationally ready condition.
• Drive continuous improvement through self-assessments, benchmarking, performance metrics, corrective actions, and cross-functional collaboration.
