Job summary

Beacon Health Management is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead clinical capabilities, quality and educational outcomes across assigned health centers. The role includes mentoring administrators on nursing resources and Directors of Nursing on staff management, while implementing corporate clinical standards and auditing systems.

Travel to multiple sites with overnight stays is required. The DON will ensure regulatory compliance in long-term care and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited college, university or nursing school.
• At least 3 years of experience as Director of Nursing in a long-term care facility.
• Multi-site experience is required.
• Active RN license in Georgia (or Compact license).
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Willing to travel overnight (moderate to frequent).
• Leadership and supervisory abilities to manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate clinical capabilities, quality and educational outcomes at each assigned health center.
• Mentor administrators on nursing resource management and DON on staff management.
• Implement corporate clinical standards and auditing/reporting systems and tools.
• Administer and implement clinical training programs.
