Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Regional Manager, Volunteer Development Team, to lead a national volunteer network remotely from Lynchburg, VA, or the Richmond area, with responsibilities across recruitment, training, and logistics for Christmas Child efforts.

You will collaborate with local churches and ministries, drive year-round engagement, and oversee seasonal operations to ensure excellent donor experiences and mission impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and lead volunteer teams to implement programs and achieve ministry goals from a Biblical perspective.
• Demonstrated experience working with local church and ministry leaders; highly organized and self-motivated.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies (required); if not completed, opportunity to meet and complete the requirement on hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Build and strengthen Volunteer Area Teams by recruiting, equipping and coaching leaders.
• Provide strategic leadership to a year-round volunteer network and drive regional growth in engagement and donations.
• Develop and expand a ministry-aligned logistics network with churches for Drop-off Locations and collection efforts.
• Lead Operations Center ministry during peak shoebox processing season and manage volunteers and staff.
