We are seeking a strategic, people-first leader to join our leadership team as the Regional Vice President (RVP) of Solutions Field Strategy. This role is responsible for leading the field sales strategy function in-region aligning our go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth and customer success. You will empower sales teams, build and lead a high-performing team, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Field Leadership

  • Lead the creation and execution of field strategies that drive revenue growth, customer success, and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with regional Sales VPs and cross-functional stakeholders to align GTM plans with market opportunity and operational goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to field teams—driving territory design, sales coverage models, and performance frameworks.
  • Create an environment where employees are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
  • Manage ambiguity, build strong relationships, and empower others.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-impact field strategy team driving industry enablement, expertise, and thought leadership.
  • Create a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Set clear objectives and performance standards, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Drive collaboration across the team to ensure consistent planning, execution, and feedback loops with field teams.
  • Attract, retain, and grow top talent to support current and future business needs.

Operational Excellence & Execution

  • Implement tools, processes, and insights that enhance field productivity and GTM effectiveness across ALL cloud solutions and overall Calix platform.
  • Develop and lead the Calix Communities program to enhance cross-functional learning and enablement
  • Foster strong communication between corporate and field functions to ensure alignment on priorities, feedback, and execution.
  • Use data to drive decisions, optimize performance, and support field enablement/engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with field sales teams on complex deal strategy
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, operations, or leadership roles in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and scaling strategic or enablement teams with proven leadership success.
  • Deep understanding of field sales motions, GTM models, and strategic planning.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Proven ability to drive change, navigate ambiguity, and build scalable processes.
  • Highly analytical, with a passion for using data to drive insights and decision-making.

The on-target earnings for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Salary ranges: San Francisco Bay Area: 299,000 - 449,000 USD Annual, Select US Metros and States: 260,000 - 390,000 USD Annual, Other US Locations: 234,000 - 351,000 USD Annual
