My client designs, develops, and operates sports, recreation, and event venues that serve as economic and social engines for communities across the country. From youth sports complexes to collegiate facilities and public-private partnerships, my client brings unmatched expertise in strategy, funding, and operations.

Currently on a growth trajectory, I’m looking for a dynamic Regional Vice President of Sales to seize the market opportunity and drive new business. If you’re a direct seller who understands the full pipeline lifecycle and has a passion for sports and communities, this is your chance to join a mission-driven organization making an impact across youth, collegiate, and professional sports spaces.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline with long-term, strategic deals (typical cycle 6–12 months)
  • Sell complex solutions into city and county governments, as well as collegiate and private sector partners
  • Deliver against a personal revenue goal of $10M TDV annually (first-year ramp-up expectations adjusted accordingly)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support proposals, RFPs, and client onboarding

Who You Are

  • Proven track record of direct selling and closing high-value deals in complex environments (senior individual contributor)
  • Experience selling into venues, hospitality, sponsorships, or public-private partnerships preferred
  • A background in or passion for sports – whether as a former athlete, coach, parent, or fan
  • Comfortable navigating government bureaucracies or selling into municipalities (bonus if you’ve sold to cities/counties or worked in government procurement)
  • Independent contributor mindset – this role does not have direct reports
