We are seeking a dynamic Regional Director of Sales, Enterprise East, to lead our growth. This pivotal role involves shaping strategy, growing a high-performing team, and driving revenue. It is ideal for a hands-on sales leader with a passion for data, a strong technical background, and a proven track record in enterprise sales at early-stage startups. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and managing a team of Sales Directors overseeing the entire customer journey—from Discovery and Evaluation to Implementation, Adoption, and ongoing success with dbt.

In this role, you will:
  • Report directly to the VP of Sales and lead a team of 6–8 Sales Directors focused on growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture for your team.
  • Establish and refine onboarding and ramp-up processes.
  • Help shape and improve our Enterprise sales playbook.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Marketing, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services.
  • Define and execute strategic plans for large, complex accounts.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has 6+ years of experience selling technical products with a successful track record.
  • Brings 3+ years of experience leading high-performing software sales teams.
  • Is comfortable with complex technical concepts and can communicate them effectively.
  • Has a strong background in recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
  • Leads with humility, inspires through action, and enjoys coaching others.
  • Aligns with our core values and mission.
You have an edge if you:
  • Have managed remote teams successfully.
  • Have experience in analytics, data, or open-source software.
  • Have gone through growth or hyper-growth stages.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary, equity, and performance-based pay. The typical salary range is $314,000 - $430,000 USD OTE.
