About the job

At Segment, we believe companies should be able to send their data wherever they want, whenever they want, with no fuss. Segment standardizes and streamlines data infrastructure with a single platform that collects, unifies, and sends data to hundreds of business tools. As the Regional Vice President, Enterprise Sales, you will be an integral part of the Sales Leadership team. You will help build high-performance teams focused on the acquisition and expansion of Segment across Enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Help develop and execute strategy for extensive growth of our Sales team
  • Recruit, develop, and enable a team of experienced enterprise sales executives
  • Engage at the Executive level with multi-billion dollar enterprise accounts
  • Accurately forecast the business
  • Meet and exceed sales goals
  • Coordinate and cultivate sales through pipeline generation and need qualification
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 8+ years experience exceeding quota and 5+ years experience leading teams in software/SaaS, selling to Enterprise accounts
  • Detailed understanding of SaaS business models; customer data/engagement experience a plus
  • Ability to lead and earn the trust of seasoned professionals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Open to domestic travel
  • MBA Preferred
Location

This role will be remote, based in either PST or MST within the United States.

Travel

Approximately 25% travel is anticipated for this role.
