Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver to deliver products to customers and job sites within the region. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, complete delivery paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch to resolve load or timing issues.

Roles require strong safety practices, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and adherence to DOT regulations. You will operate ELDs, maintain logs, and ensure timely, compliant transport.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and listening skills.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate load/timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers.
• Conduct daily pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections of truck and cargo.
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region.
• Follow all safety rules and always wear required PPE.
• Load, secure, and deliver cargo safely and on time.
• Maintain vehicle service and repair logs in compliance with regulations.
