Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB) is hiring drivers in Charlotte, NC for full-time regional/local routes. You will drive with a valid CDL-A, maintain a clean driving record, and handle customer deliveries while upholding safety and service standards.

Typical shifts run 40–70 hours per week with overnight stays 2–3 nights. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 and potential quarterly bonuses are available; starting pay ranges from $1,300 to $1,800 per week depending on hours and routes.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL A experience; training program for ≤2 years.
• Strong customer service and time management skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old and DOT qualified.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional/local routes with 2–3 nights out per week.
• Tailgate freight with assistance of cart; light touch freight.
• Maintain on-time deliveries and safe driving practices.
• Read, write and understand English for logs and communication.

Pay

$1300 - $1800 per week according to hours and route. Quarterly Bonus Potential $500.

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus (not available for Rehires or Trainees)

Schedule

Full-time | 40–70 hours/week

• Regional and Local Routes – Out 2-3 nights per week with time off over the weekend.
• Partial Touch Freight – Driver tailgating required
• Assigned Truck – Late model equipment

What You'll Do
