Job summary

AMBSIMS & Associates Corp is seeking a Regional Truck Driver to transport tire freight from Blakeslee, PA to distribution facilities across the Northeast. This regional, no-touch freight role offers weekly home time, sleeper equipment, and onsite management support.

You'll operate in PA, CT, DE, MD, NY, VA, and WV with no NYC deliveries, handling about 11 loads and 17 stops per week, with paid orientation and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible drivers.

• Operate primarily in: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Virginia, West Virginia
• Complete approximately 11 loads and 17 stops per week, on average.
• Transport no-touch freight, with no driver loading or unloading required.
• Pick up and transport third-party backhauls from driver drop locations or vendor pickup locations.
• Support other DCS and IM accounts as needed based on operational and customer needs.
• Safely operate equipment while complying with company, customer, DOT, and applicable safety requirements.

Position Overview

The Regional Truck Driver is responsible for transporting tire freight from the customer location in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, to tire distribution locations throughout the Northeast. This is a regional, no-touch freight position offering weekly home time, assigned sleeper equipment, and onsite management support.

Drivers will primarily operate throughout Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Virginia, and West Virginia. There are no New York City deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport tire freight from the Blakeslee, PA customer location to distribution facilities throughout the Northeast.
• Operate primarily in:

• Complete approximately 11 loads and 17 stops per week, on average.
• Transport no-touch freight, with no driver loading or unloading required.

Schedule & Home Time

• Regional operation with weekly home time.
• Drivers should be prepared for overnight travel throughout the workweek.
• Onsite management is available to provide operational support.
• Drivers must maintain flexibility to support changing freight and account needs.

Truck & Transportation Requirements

• Drivers will operate sleeper tractors.
• Trucks must be parked at the account during scheduled time off.
• Company trucks cannot be taken home for time off.
• Drivers are required to have personal, reliable transportation to and from the Blakeslee, PA work location.

Freight Handling

This is a NO-TOUCH FREIGHT position. Drivers are not responsible for manually loading or unloading the tire freight at customer distribution locations.

Drivers will also handle assigned third-party backhauls from designated drop or vendor pickup locations.

Holiday Schedule

Drivers are scheduled OFF for the following major holidays:

• Thanksgiving - Off
• Christmas - Off
• New Year's Day - Off

Holiday Pay: $160 per day, subject to applicable company eligibility requirements.
