Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Regional Transportation & Compliance Manager to optimize transportation, logistics, and compliance across multiple warehouse sites. You will coach staff, ensure safety standards, and maintain accurate inventory and fleet records to support efficient product flow.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will collaborate with donors and operations teams, manage budgeted expenses, and drive continuous improvement while upholding

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent transportation certifications or experience.
• Minimum five years of verifiable paid work experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
• Minimum two years supervising multiple warehouse units.
• Experience supervising program participants, volunteers, or teams of 10+ individuals (preferred).
• Valid CA driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR check required.
• Verifiable work experience driving a box truck (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation, logistics, and KPI adherence across regional WTU units.
• Coach and lead staff to optimize routing, inventory control, and product flow.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, state and federal compliance and drive the IIPP program.
• Monitor fleet maintenance, safety inspections, and equipment upkeep.
• Prepare regular reports on regional operations and performance.
• Support budget monitoring and financial oversight for multiple locations.
