Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison in the Neurology Rare Disease area. This field-based role focuses on regional strategy, education and engagement with thought leaders to support launch readiness and patient pathways.

Responsibilities include mapping key institutions, coordinating with MSLs and leading congress engagement, while collaborating closely with Marketing and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical, scientific, public health or business degree preferred.
• At least eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience in field roles or marketing.
• Experience in rare or ultra-rare disease, neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics or diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to operate independently in a field role without an established franchise.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional plan aligned with national strategy and launch priorities.
• Map institutions and thought leaders to clarify diagnosis, testing and referral paths.
• Coordinate with MSLs on shared thought leaders and scientific needs.
• Lead commercial thought-leader engagement for major congresses and meetings.
• Partner with Marketing and Account Manager to translate insights into action.
