Cornerstone Community Financial Credit Union is seeking a Regional Teller/Relationship Banker in Michigan. The role will float across Auburn Hills and other MI branches, handling a range of transactions and customer inquiries to deepen member relationships.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of similar or related experience including time spent in similar or preparatory positions.
• A high school degree or GED is required.
• A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required.
• Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills that include proven ability to handle difficult member interactions.
• Strong communication skills must be demonstrated through oral and written means.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products including Word and Outlook.
• Ability to be bonded.
• Possesses basic mathematical skills and is proficient in the use of calculators.
• Must be able to multitask effectively to assist members with their inquiries.
• Ability to obtain Notary designation.

Responsibilities

• Updates account information and documents member interviews in our core system promptly, efficiently, and accurately with close attention to detail.
• Identifies opportunities to deepen the member relationship by recommending credit union products and/or services to meet the members short-term and long-term financial needs.
• Educates members on benefits of products and services. Refers members to other credit union representatives, as appropriate.
• Researches issues and collaborates with internal departments to resolve concerns.
• Performs department related support duties, including scanning, faxes, and daily reports.

Regional Teller/Relationship Banker

Full-Time Regular J8HS Universal I Auburn Hills, MI, US

Salary Range: $19.00 To $20.50 Hourly

The Regional Teller/Relationship Banker will support the needs of our membership by developing relationships with our membership working diligently to process their financial transactions and find positive solutions for their financial needs. They will utilize their product knowledge to promote, educate, and cross-sell financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our members. Offers appropriate products/services to deepen member relationships with CCF in accordance with CCF's goals and growth targets. Serves as a professional representative of the credit union through all member interactions and ensures each member receives outstanding member service by performing within CCF’s vision, mission, goals, and living our service promises through inbound calls, outbound calls, email, and in-person interactions.

Please note that this position will float between all Michigan branches - Auburn Hills, Center Line, Clinton Township, Macomb, Royal Oak, Sterling Heights, & Troy as needed. Additionally, the intent is for this position to transition into a permanent branch placement following successful onboarding.

What You'll Do in This Role:

• Processes transactions including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, checks, transfers, wire transfers, and loan payments. Updates account information, and documents member interviews in our core system promptly, efficiently, and accurately with close attention to detail.

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Work Location: This position will travel to Michigan branches for coverage/support as needed.
