Job summary

Trane Technologies in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Regional Technician Development Partner to lead regional learning programs for technicians, owning the development roadmap and coordinating apprenticeship and technical training to meet safety and quality standards. This role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration with service leaders, instructors, and Recruiting partners, and travel approx.

20–30% to build a sustainable technician talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 7+ years’ relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in HVAC service, technical training, workforce development, operations, or program management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel regionally ~20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regional technician development roadmap with stakeholders.
• Coordinate regional delivery of training programs and apprenticeship.
• Partner with FIN instructors and field leaders to ensure training readiness and follow-through.
• Travel 20–30% to support onsite training and regional execution.
