Clasen Quality Chocolate (CQC) in Sparks, NV is hiring a Tanker Driver for a regional/off-road mix with local deliveries. Expect 2–3 nights away from home, with a 40–55 hour week, using state-of-the-art equipment and 76 inch sleepers. Starting pay is $35/hr with opportunities to earn through bonuses.

This role focuses on safe, professional delivery of tanker loads to customers, handling paperwork, and maintaining equipment. A CDL A with Tanker endorsement and DOT compliance are required.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement).
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, a valid medical examiner's card and an acceptable driving record.
• Tanker certification can be obtained prior to start date.
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Pass a pre-employment driving test and a pre-employment DOT drug screen/physical.

Mansioni

• Regional over-the-road CDL driver, spending 2–5 nights per week in the sleeper.
• Inspect equipment before and after trips and submit reports on condition.
• Read bill of lading to determine routing assignments.
• Load, unload or assist in loading/unloading bulk tanker trailer.
• Drive vehicles, maintain FMCSA/DOT compliance and drive safely.
• Maintain driver logs and ensure proper cargo securing.
