Job summary

National Health Care Associates, Inc. is seeking a Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist to build skilled, compassionate teams for long-term care facilities in Southern/Central Maine, with main location in Yarmouth, ME. The role emphasizes recruiting, hiring and retaining talent across centers.

Qualifications

  • 3+ yrs experience in healthcare recruiting in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred; or, 5+ yrs non-healthcare across industries
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, practices and tools including on-line and off-line sourcing activities
  • Past success building influential client relationships, partnering effectively and collaborating across multiple teams
  • Experience building partnerships with professional, educational and community organizations
  • Excellent communication skills across various outreach methods
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple facilities concurrently
  • Interest in the needs of the aged and chronically ill; ability to work with both

Responsibilities

  • Support the needs of one or more care centers throughout the talent acquisition life-cycle to attract, hire, onboard and retain talent
  • Build strong partnerships and collaborate with hiring partners to understand business objectives, develop tailored recruiting strategies and drive recruiting activity for the center(s)
  • As the subject matter expert, advise, train and influence partners regarding recruitment strategy, process optimization, candidate experience and ATS
  • Cultivate active and passive candidate pools through sourcing, community partnerships, social media, marketing, employee referrals, etc.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for long-term care roles
  • Coordinate and facilitate the hiring process, including scheduling interviews, background checks, and extending offers; partner with HR to complete onboarding tasks
  • Represents the care center(s) at job fairs, in the community, campus events, and professional associations

What You'll Do:

As a Regional Talent Acquisition Specialists, you help to build the highly skilled, extremely compassionate, dedicated teams that improve the lives of our guests and their families. Your expertise and understanding of the unique staffing needs of long-term care facilities will be instrumental in recruiting, hiring and retaining the talent that achieves our business objectives and mission.

* Region includes multiple facilities within the Southern/Central Maine area.

* Main location- Yarmouth, ME.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the needs of one or more care centers throughout the talent acquisition life-cycle to attract, hire, onboard and retain talent
  • Build strong partnerships and collaborate with hiring partners to understand business objectives, develop tailored recruiting strategies and drive recruiting activity for the center(s)
  • As the subject matter expert, advise, train and influence partners and stakeholders regarding recruitment strategy, process optimization, candidate experience and technologies including the applicant tracking system
  • Cultivate active and passive candidate pools through sourcing, community partnerships, social media, marketing, employee referrals, etc.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for long-term care roles
  • Coordinate and facilitate the hiring process, including scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and extending offersPartners with HR Assistants to ensure the completion of applicant and new-hire documentation, screening and background requirements and other tasks through onboarding
  • Represents the care center(s) at job fairs, in the community, campus events, and through various professional associations

Rate of Pay

USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Talent Acquisition Specialist include:

  • 3+ yrs experience in healthcare recruiting in skilled nursing or other long-term care environment preferred; or, 5+ yrs non-healthcare supporting multiple industries
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, practices and tools including on-line and off-line sourcing activities
  • Past success building influential client relationships, partnering effectively and collaborating seamlessly across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Experience building and maintaining deep, symbiotic partnerships with professional, educational and community organizations
  • Excellent communication skills including the use of various modes and methods for outreach and engagement
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple facilities concurrently
  • Interest in the needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Embraces the value and importance of being present in the care center and community
  • May require 10%-25% travel with infrequent out-of-state or overnight stays
