Primary Purpose

Maximize company growth, revenue, and profitability by achieving the organization’s short- and long-term targets through sourcing and providing solutions to sales requests, making Chip 1 our customers’ first choice with respect to their supply chain needs.

Essential Functions
  • Sources RFQs - received from purchasing manager - from our Chip 1 own inventories (nationally and globally), Franchised or Independent distributors and in accordance with our customers’ specifications. Ensures best opportunities are discovered to maximize profit
  • Identifies and introduces new sources of supply to the company, working in collaboration with accounting to complete procedures related to new supplier approval list. Builds collaborative relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiates pricing, terms and conditions to secure supply chain quality and to achieve positive gross profit results
  • Enter all offers received from suppliers into CRM. Ensures that all communication in written or oral communication is clear between sales and purchasing, so sales can have a clear understanding of offers when presenting them to clients
  • Compares Sales Orders (received from clients) with offers (received from Suppliers) to make sure all requirements and conditions match and there are no discrepancies
  • Looks at offers expiration information and reconfirms offers conditions with suppliers to make sure offers are still valid and there are no current better offers in the market before issuing Purchase Orders (PO)
  • Prepares POs to send to suppliers making sure all requirements and conditions match with Sales Orders from clients (including packaging, date code, manufacturer, etc.) and there are no discrepancies
  • Ensures safe receipt of PO’s. Confirms payment conditions (net terms, TT Advance, credit card, C.O.D, etc.), requests invoices from suppliers and delivery tracking numbers. Coordinates package delivery with warehouse.

Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on experience in purchasing or procurement - ideally with electronic components and commodities (Passive, Integrated Circuits, CPU, GPU, SDD, HDD etc.)
