Responsibilities

• Lead production underwriting for the territory.
• Own P&L for the regional book of business.
• Supervise a regional team of underwriters and guide strategy.
• Set the regional surety business plan aligned with LOB strategy.
• Initiate marketing with agents, brokers, and customers.
• Recruit, hire, and develop underwriters in the territory.
• Manage recommendations for surety programs.
• Prepare budgeting, business plans, and expense control.
• Monitor portfolio quality towards profitability.
