Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Endorsement or other professional certification for the provision of special education is required, or full approval with continuing education credits.
• Three years of experience in special education administration or related leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and supervise ancillary staff.
• Assist Schools in providing effective special education programming.
• Assist districts with compliance related activities.
• Serve as an advisor on special education legal issues and liaison between the LEA and VBISD.
