  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Significant experience in Catholic or faith-based education and commitment to supporting the mission, values, and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

Role Description

The Regional Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Los Angeles, CA, responsible for overseeing and supporting Catholic schools within an assigned region of the Archdiocese. This position provides leadership in academic excellence, school operations, and mission-driven formation, working closely with principals, pastors, and school leaders to ensure alignment with Archdiocesan policies and priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting school visits, mentoring administrators, facilitating professional development, and monitoring compliance with educational standards and regulatory requirements. The Regional Superintendent collaborates on strategic planning, enrollment and retention initiatives, budget oversight, and the implementation of curricular and instructional improvement efforts. The role also involves serving as a key liaison between regional schools and central Archdiocesan offices, communicating expectations, sharing best practices, and helping to resolve complex operational and educational issues.
