Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Strategy & Operations Lead to scale operational excellence across South East Asia and ANZ. You will bridge global leadership with regional teams, translating strategy into action and building scalable operating systems to drive ambitious business goals.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across markets and functions, defining priorities, aligning resources, and establishing governance to ensure disciplined execution in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading regional or international operations in a fast-scaling, complex business environment.
• Ability to translate global strategy into regional execution with discipline and rigor.
• Proven track record building scalable operating systems, processes, metrics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Defining and implementing the South East Asia & ANZ operating strategy in alignment with APAC & global objectives and regional priorities.
• Driving execution across key markets, ensuring consistency while adapting to local needs, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Partnering with global leadership to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and ensure strong execution in-region.
• Establishing KPIs, reporting frameworks, and operating cadences to track performance and inform decision-making.
• Building and optimizing scalable processes across business lines, including consumer, product, partnerships, and other key functions.
• Identifying operational gaps and inefficiencies, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting market entry strategies and operational readiness for South East Asia & ANZ.
