Air Products is seeking a highly motivated Specialist Electrician to support operations across the Midwest and southeastern United States. This residence-based role requires independent work and the ability to lead maintenance crews when needed.

Travel is significant within the region, with some international travel possible. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years (10 years preferred) in petrochemical/manufacturing electrical maintenance/start-up.
• Experience with low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment and electrical distribution.
• Familiarity with NEC and hazardous locations is highly desirable.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment.
• Support reliability and maintenance across plants, ventures and sites.
• Diagnose equipment issues and resolve electrical/control failures.
• Develop refurbishment procedures and oversee parts replacement.
• Provide technical decision-making for repairs and overhauls.
• Create detailed work scopes for repairs/overhauls.
• Coordinate with engineering/maintenance/operations for safe execution.
• Prepare technical reports and equipment assessments.
