Job summary

Winsupply is seeking a procurement leadership role within the Sourcing Services team to mentor specialists, optimize vendor performance, and drive strategic projects across nationwide wholesale distribution centers.

You will collaborate with vendor relations, forecast product mix, and manage inventory turns while aligning with senior leadership expectations. This position emphasizes data-driven decision making and process improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. In lieu of degree, relevant experience considered.
• Purchasing, inventory management, and leadership experience required.
• Preferred: experience in wholesale industry.

Responsibilities

• Understand job responsibilities, advocate for, and lead/mentor Procurement and Support Specialists.
• Monitor team responsibilities; oversee and manage to team metrics to maintain vendor line performance.
• Develop action plans with employees to correct metrics not meeting expectations.
• Administer performance management system, including metric recordkeeping, monthly 1:1’s, annual reviews, promotion and bonus recommendations.
• Identify, bring forth, and implement process improvements; lead and deliver strategic projects.
