Job summary

Winsupply is seeking a Procurement Leader to guide a team of Procurement and Support Specialists across the Sourcing Services organization, ensuring strong vendor performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration to foster growth for hundreds of local wholesale businesses nationwide.

You will develop action plans, manage performance, and implement process improvements to meet aggressive inventory and turns targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field or relevant experience.
• Purchasing, inventory management, and leadership experience required.
• Experience in wholesale industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand job responsibilities, advocate for, and lead/mentor Procurement and Support Specialists.
• Monitor team responsibilities; oversee and manage to team metrics to maintain vendor line performance.
• Develop action plans with employees to correct metrics not meeting expectations.
• Administer performance management system, including metric recordkeeping, monthly 1:1’s, annual reviews, and related processes.
• Identify, bring forth, and implement process improvements; lead and deliver strategic projects.
• Collaborate with Vendor Relations to launch profitable product lines and address non-performing lines.
• Balance growth opportunities with accountability to customers, sales teams, and leadership.
